You never get as many auto responses as you do in the last weeks of December. Most everyone is in hibernation mode, comfortably situated wherever they’re spending the holidays.
The mood has changed, the pace slowed down, and we’re left to wonder how the year seemed to have passed so quickly.
The projects, the meetings, the grind eases into a pause and we look back at what has been accomplished.
A lot, and yet, a full plate awaits us in just a few weeks’ time as we settle into the new year.
As our team reflects on the year that’s about to end, beyond what was won and what was lost, beyond the numbers and contracts and goals we’ve set, we are most grateful for the friendships, new and old, that we’ve built, that we’ve kept, that has kept us steady in this fast-paced and sometimes quite volatile industry.
2025 started on shaky grounds, but we’ve managed to keep our footing because of the kind of relationship we have with you – open, honest, and built on trust. You’ve had our back as we will always have yours. And that’s what has kept us strong these past years and what we’ll continue to hold on to in the years to come.
2026 holds a special meaning for us. 50 years ago was when the company was founded. In an office in San Francisco in 1976, an idea turned into something real. One relationship turned into another, expanded outside the United States and crossed many continents since.
Every new friendship built on trust.
Every relationship made stronger by the storms we’ve weathered together.
To each and every single on of you, whether we source from you or for you, whether you simply read the content we share, whether you deliver our goods by land or sea, whether you harvest, process or pack them…
